CUBAN COFFEE RECIPES

MAKE YOUR MOKA POT MAMBO.

We’ve shared our favorite recipes so you can share the Cuban Coffee you love with the people you love. But first, here’s what you’ll need. They say that Cuban Coffee isn’t about the ingredients, it’s about the preparation. Still, starting with quality ingredients makes a huge difference. Now try making your own with one of our recipes...

A MOKA POT

The moka pot is a stove-top coffee maker that was invented by Italian engineer Alfonso Bialetti in 1933. It works by creating enough steam to push water through ground coffee. It brews within five minutes.

COFFEE BEANS

Only the finest beans will do from Cuban Coffee Queen, roasted by our Maestro Tostador (master roaster) fresh in Key West. One whiff and you can tell the diff.

PURE CANE SUGAR

Using cane sugar instead of white sugar improves the taste but method does matter here. If you’ve ever added a packet of white sugar to espresso, you’ve probably noticed how it can taste a little acidic. With Cuban coffee, we blend coffee with cane sugar beforehand. That way, the flavors become one.
